Rochdale Biz has been started its work from 2009 by the technical support of Jute diversification promotion center (JDPC) with lots of Rural and Urban women in socially and economically weaker section. This kind of women is mostly depending upon her husband or father for their needs. To alleviate this situation Rochdale Biz took initiate to run this program so that women can get the privilege to earn money through learning and be self-reliant.

Method and technical approach:

Module Development:

The training cell of Rochdale Biz has been developing a training module considering the participants needs. According to the selective objective the logical and viable contents and sub-contents has been composed in the module sequentially. Hereby mentioned that though contents are preset by the project authority nevertheless few sub contents might be added belong to the mentioned contents. In this case contents will be included as considering the participants level and timeframe where “must learn”, “need to be learn” and “useful to learn” will be given priority. The module is focus on participatory approach in most cases. It regulate the most highly participatory method like exercise, Demonstration, Group discussion, Brain storming, Large group discussion etc where the participants will have the maximum access to the material and methods. The modules are including the training monitoring and evaluation process so that the learning can be assessed over objective. The initial module has been presented to the respective project personnel and receiving feedback to rectify the modules. Then the modules will be finalized with the concern of project focal person. The module will guide the facilitator to facilitate the entire course where in lesson plan, materials using, time frame, methods, learning assessment system, lot of details has been mentioned articulately. The course has been design in such way so that the participants will feel interest to receive the course efficiently and effectively.

Training implementation

After getting the approval from the concern authority Rochdale Biz will go for training organization and implementation. In this phage to start the activities a training implementation unit will be formed and will allocate the task among the team for the both training conduction efficiently and effectively. The chief executive of training division will lead the entire execution.
Before going to implement the training courses such a training venue will be selected, this will be situated in very safe and calm place and where all the training facilities will be available.
The seating arrangement in the training courses will be as peer shaped, and latest equipment and technology will be used.
The necessary training materials will be provided to the participants according to the mentioned budged. The participants will learn eight hours a day e.g 09.00 am to 05.00 pm.
All the training session will be driven by the participants where the trainer will play their roll like facilitator. In last two days the participants will present session as like as a facilitator and after presenting dummy session feedback will be given to rectify and improve their skill.
After completing the training courses a comprehensive training report will be prepared and will submit to the concern authority in times. The chief of the training will be responsible to submit the report.
